Part 2 Yilan(Chun)

2-1 on the way to Yilan
In the bus, they are singing Country Road.

2-2 French restaurant “Firewater” Calvin and Jiro’s proposal
In the restaurant, there is a table where 100% of marriage proposals come out successful. Before showing the table, Chun asks others how they’d like to propose.
Calvin: I will fill the place where we met for the first time with flowers (and tell her)
“You changed my life. I want to go through rest of my life with you.”
I will film it to see later.
Jiro: I’d like to propose in the highest place. Guess where!
In the air! We go up in a hot-air balloon and up in the air I take out a ring and say “I love you. Let’s get married.”

2-3 Aaron, Chun’s proposal
Aaron: I haven’t thought of it specifically yet. But I’d like to make it romantic. If she likes dogs, I would buy a dog on the day when I propose and put a engagement ring on the collar. When she takes a dog in her arms and finds the ring, I will ask her to marry me.
Chun: I should create a romantic atmosphere. First, I would prepare gorgeous dinner by myself, and also candles, wine, exotic dishes, and beautiful roses. Then I only need a nice place.

They go to the table where 100% of the marriage proposals come out successful.

2-4 local cuisine
Chun: Yilan bing cake.
Jiro: YaShang dried duck
Calvin: kumquat tea
Aaron: Gaojha

2-5 Hanakimi location
This is where Quan(Chun), XiuYi(Jiro) and RuiXi(Ella) worked in summer vacation.
The owner’s wife tells them an interesting thing which happened when they were shooting. One day the owner drove Chun to the station. Chun found he forgot to bring his wallet only after the car had gone away. He called the owner, who went back to the station, but without money either. He lent all the small change he had which was just enough for Chun to take the train.
Chun gets embarrassed.

2-6 Chun in the hotel room
Chun: This is the second time I came here, the last time was when I was shooting Hanakimi. 3 years have passed after shooting, still I sometimes think of those days. Since I stayed here for 2, 3 weeks, this room impressed me a lot.
In the morning, I used to get up and open the door to go out the balcony. I could see the beautiful sky and ocean of lawn. I felt so good.
It was my second drama and I was under pressure. The demands to myself were high so there were times I was in low spirit. But staying here comforted me a lot. The owner was so nice to me and the environment here was great.
I sometimes called my father sitting on the sofa there. I still remember the feeling at that time.
It’s good I could come here today. If I have a chance, I want to come back here in private, not for job.
It’s time to rest now. Good night.

2-7 breakfast
Chun: Did you sleep well?
Jiro: It’s still dark outside.

2-8 Hotel Royal Chiao Hsi (Yilan)
They have fun on the carousels in the playground of the hotel.
Chun: Would you like to try the service by a lot of staff?
The staff is fish!
(It is called Doctor Fish Spa. The fish clean dead skin.)

2-9 in the restaurant
Chun: You are going to have Western style Japanese dish.
Chun just watches three boys eat.

2-10 the last dish and dessert
Jiro: We thank Chun for a wonderful day. The last dish is for you.
You haven’t eaten anything. It must be hard for you.
(Jiro asks Chun to give him some)
Chun: No! One dish for one person. This is mine!
