Before the interview heard the night before Wu Chun returned from the mainland, this month he only has 5 days to stop in Taiwan, the rest of the time will be in the mainland flying around, I would think he’s seen a lot of different sceneries, but he said he’s mainly spent most of the time practicing at the set, after the performance he has to leave immediately to other cities. Today its also an early interview job, worried that his body will not able to digest, but he said because he over worked earlier, he slept deeply the night before once he returned home, now his energy is looking pretty good, but in his speech you can hear some tiredness. It’s been 5 years since he’s entered the industry, even though he misses home he is now used to the busyness from one place to another, then to awake in an unfamiliar city, though he does not get bed sick of his own bed, he does sleep more in peace in his own home. But any corner with a Chinese world, there still too many fans waiting for him to appear, not able to stay in each area too long, flying closely with the itinerary, his distressed fans are starting to call him “Super Man”.

Wu Chun really likes the Piaget watch, considering if he should get it for his father

Filming “14 Blades”, has caused Wu Chun’s life to open many windows. For talent; he’s learnt horse back riding, knowledge of martial arts, for vision; having grown up in the hot climate country Brunei he has a memorable experience in Yin Chuan’s yellow desert of rolling sand, for relationship; when Wu Chun’s father visited him in China during filming, seeing him riding the horse handsomely, he asked initiatively to take a picture together, that was the first time since he’s entered the industry where he felt “My father is proud because he has me as a son.”

To enter the big silver screens has always been Wu Chun’s dream, but because his road to his dream has been too smooth, it has changed his life plans. Two years ago, meaningfully hinted, did not want to be away from his family for a long time, even if it means not being an artists, leaving the entertainment industry wouldn’t matter.

[January 05, 2010] HIM Artistes Gather for Year-End Dinner, Don in Gold & Sillver to Celebrate the Lunar New Year

HIM Records is into its 10th year, and held its grand annual year-end dinner in Taipei the day before, to show appreciation to its dedicated workers. As HIM always value their end-year celebration very much, and in order to allow all artistes to attend, they have scheduled for the event half a year ago, resulting in rejecting many commercial performances and publicity activities. HIM spokesperson said, “Our company values the tradition of holding the year-end dinner very much. This is possibly the only time within a day all our artistes can gather for a celebration. Hence despite the opportunity costs involved, we have to reject many performance invitations.” On the day of the celebrations, Judy Zhou Ding Wei was having high fever and flu, and had to even go to the hospital to be put on drip. But he still rushed back to the celebrations to show his support. Although he was not feeling well, he still put on a good performance to bring up the mood of the event.

Being in the industry for a few yrs, Wu Zun’s rumoured girlfriends are ever changing. From Ariel Lin to Ah Sa, to Angela Zhang, even Wu Zun laughed and said, “Who i’m supposed to have, I have all of them already.” No matter if she’s funny or cute, seems like all the different sort of characters a female is supposed to have, she’s included in the list already. And recently, the one that is most exposed would be the “rather boyish” Ella. Ella, who seemed as though she can only be “good brothers” with Wu Zun, can also actually be one of the candidates of being his girlfriend. He said, “Actually, she is a very caring and responsible girl. It’s not definite that being friends is the only option.” Not only Ella, Wu Zun expressed that actually, other female artistes can also be possible of being a girlfriend. “Actually, all of them can have the possibility of being a girlfriend, it’s only depending on whether I have the feel.”

During the press conference, Ella appeared “almost expressionless” and unhappy throughout. Fans eagerly anticipating seeing the hunky Wu Chun topless in his newest movie will be disappointed. The most the Taiwanese singer-actor from boyband Fahrenheit will expose in period blockbuster, 14 Blades, is his navel region.

In town recently to promote the movie, Hong Kong director Daniel Lee said that including the former gym instructor in his diverse cast just to have him go topless would be very low-grade. The movie also stars Donnie Yen, Zhao Wei, Kate Tsui and Singapore’s own movie star Qi Yuwu.

The muscles of Taiwan meet the muscles of Korea. And they seemed to have rubbed off each other the right way.

Wu Chun and Lee Byung-hun were at the 2010 Asia Model Awards last Friday. Both won for their respective countries. Wu was also taken aback and pleasantly surprised when the Korean superstar proposed that they work together in the future.

It was the two’s first meeting, but due to a common passion for hitting the gym, the musclemen continued chatting after leaving the stage.

Wu said that when it comes to acting and experience, he has a lot to learn from his counterpart, but when the topic came to their physique, the member of Taiwanese boyband Farenheit assumed more confidence.

In regards to rumors about the group being on bad terms and news of them disbanding, Fahrenheit responds, “We’re used to it, so we might as well not respond. A group will always go through these sort of things.” It is a fact that the popularity of each member is different, but all four members express, “This is good competition. We will only know what’s good and bad when there is comparison.” They emphasize that they won’t be jealous of each other even when they work as solo artists in the future. Fahrenheit will be releasing their 4th album in August and after that, they will have only one more album left to complete their contract.
