Known more for his part in popular boy band Fahrenheit and in his roles as the quiet and serious heartthrob in idol dramas, Taiwanese singer and actor Wu Chun has been keeping busy with his upcoming role in the martial arts flick “14 Blades”. The Hong Kong-based production marks only his second entry onto the widescreen for Wu Chun, as he has also starred in last year’s tragic love story “Butterfly Lovers”.
Despite Wu Chun’s previous experience in the ancient Chinese period piece from that 2008 movie, Wu Chun’s new acting gig still puts him outside the confines of the safety and familiar territories of idol dramas and into a high-intensity martial arts setting. Furthermore, with Wu Chun’s entertainment debut originating in pop music, it will be interesting to see if he can keep up with the acting chops of established co-stars Donnie Yen, Vicki Zhao, and Sammo Hung. Whether he breaks the mold and becomes a competent actor like Leehom Wang, or fails to break the typecast roles that plague Jay Chou, remains to be seen.

Wu Zun attended a film press conference (14 blades) today yesterday. During the press conference, he denied again that he is leaving Fahrenheit (FRH) as well as denying that he has the intention of starting his own company.
Kate Tsui wore a bareback dress during the press conference. When taking photographs, Wu Zun saw Kate posing like a “big actress”. He also followed her way of posing and add a “smile” on top of that. The way Wu Zun posed like Kate looks funny. Wu Zun played a magistrate judge in this film. He said, “I finally get to play a manly role.”

Wu Chun said he’s being wronged by the rumours circulating that he’s not going to act in idol dramas anymore. The moment the hilarious Wu Chun saw Malaysia’s reporters, he immediately took initiative and clarified that the report which says he’s not going to film idol dramas anymore is not true. He expressed that there may be a chance that he’ll act in an idol drama next year.
Wu Chun ever starred in idol dramas Hana Kimi, Romantic Princess etc and have all obtained rather good ratings, but in recent years he has been switching to challenge the big screen and seldom appear in idol dramas, hence it has sparked the saying that he will not act in idol dramas anymore. Due to this, Wu Chun was worried that it would cause a misunderstanding. During this trip with the other 3 fahrenheit members Jiro, Calvin and Arron to promote their album Yue Lai Yue Ai in Malaysia, Wu Chun took the the opportunity to clarify this matter during the press conference.
Note: I apologize for the late post. Haven’t gone on-line for days coz of busy schedule. Thank you for understanding! -charaze

As per my previous blog, April was a ‘Decision Month’ for me in which I could hardly sit back, relax and think about everything properly… haha! However, I ought to clear up a very big misunderstanding re my previous blog. Maybe the English that I wrote has created some misunderstanding in some people
In fact, that decision wasn’t related to my contract at all… it was more into what I need to do in the next coming few months. Hope you guys understand now
